Our methodology for proofreading, depending on the requirements for the job, may be:

  • A word-for-word proofreading against copy.
  • A read for sense and spelling.
  • A scripture scan, which is a comprehensive series of checks and spot reading of the Bible page.

In addition to proofreading, our services include:

  • Copy Editing. We can copy edit study and devotional materials within Bibles. If your material has already been copy edited, we will be happy to follow the copy editor's style information and assure you that it is consistently followed.
  • Checking cross reference systems, concordances, and indexes.
  • Preparing style manuals for translations. We are students of each translation we read and we collect all information we can about that translation. On occasion, we have created a style manual with all of this information, which can be an invaluable help to editors, designers, typesetters, and proofreaders.
