We are a big team

A Team Approach

The Peachtree staff includes more than twenty proofreaders, who are rigorously trained in the unique Peachtree system of Bible proofreading and in the nuances of each translation. For each Bible project, a team of three to twenty proofreaders systematically checks the hundreds of thousands of details within that Bible setting.

A new chapter in the Peachtree story began in February 2016, as company founders June and Doug Gunden transitioned into retirement, and incoming president Paige Drygas assumed leadership of day-to-day operations.

PAIGE HALEY DRYGAS has worked in Christian publishing since 1999. She has contributed to hundreds of published products as a writer, editor, and project manager. She served as the General Editor of True Images: The Bible for Teen Girls and True Identity: The Bible for Women, partnered with Dr. Gary Chapman to write 5: A Teen’s Guide to the 5 Love Languages, and was the Managing Editor for Pastor James MacDonald’s “Our Journey” devotional series.

Paige has a BA in English from Wheaton College and an MAT from National-Louis University and is a University of Chicago–trained manuscript editor. In her former life, she taught high school English at Wheaton Academy and coached soccer. The blend of Paige’s life experiences, her background in Christian publishing, her love for the Bible, her passion for fine editorial work, her leadership, and her value for people drew her to Peachtree, and she is honored to represent the Peachtree staff and brand. Paige lives with her husband, Joe, and their two sons in Peachtree City, GA.
